About the Carnegie Arts Center
The Carnegie Arts Center serves as the center of the city's efforts to preserve and promote the fine arts in Parsons. The former Carnegie Library is the home to the Parsons Arts and Humanities Council and various other community events. Each year, the center plays host to several community meetings, reunions, and receptions.
Historic Site
Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2009, The Carnegie Arts Center is the only building in Parsons listed on the National Historic Register. After undergoing some initial renovation in past years, further renovation and restoration is currently being planned by the city and the Arts and Humanities Council to make this facility a truly beautiful and functional centerpiece of the community. When completed, this building should stand as a monument to historic preservation and a commitment to the arts in Parsons.
Rental Information
