Tree Advisory Board

Overview
The Parsons Tree Advisory Board was established by the City Commission in October, 1987. Currently the Arboretum Board has taken over the responsibilities of the Tree Board. (See Arboretum Board.)

Its mission is to coordinate with the Parsons Public Works and Parks Departments in the planting and maintaining of trees on public property. The board also was given the task of promoting the education and encouragement of the citizens in the planting and care of trees.
