Public Works
The Parsons Public Works Department provides numerous services to the city and its citizens. The department has full-time and seasonal employees who provide:
- Management of Lake Parsons, historic Oakwood Cemetery, and the city's parks system
- Maintenance and construction of city streets and roadways
- Oversight of the city's stormwater drainage
- Operation of Oakwood Cemetery
- Maintenance and repair of the vehicle fleet
